- Any normal parent knows that after 30 seconds of pure silence.......something is wrong. How could you sit down in an airplane and not notice the empty seat next to you where your kid would be sitting? I flew with my three year old and my wife and I had separate seats, but I knew they were there.

- There are several problems going on here. First, we have people speeding. Most all of us have done it, and we cannot condemn the people in KY that do. If the neighborhood wants change, and I assume that it is an association, then they should follow the correct steps to remedy their local area.

- PO'd taxpayer, I agree with you regarding the police cars. Here in Florida, they are going thru major property tax reforms and the governmental agencies are scrambling because of the reduced revenue. Indiana isn't the only state with problems, I have seen the same thing down here.

- Betsy, go back and read the article again. He was 29 minutes into his first day of his new job. So technically, he was on the clock.

- If the officer was "on the clock" what was he doing at his own house? The article states that his vehicle was struck in front of his home?
